The school council is a dynamic group composed of individuals and pairs who actively support and enhance leadership within our educational community. This collaborative body not only represents diverse perspectives but also facilitates various avenues for gauging student voice. Through mechanisms like the Annual Review, Progress Meetings, 'talk for learning' curriculum time, tutor time, surveys and drop-in sessions with the leadership team, students are empowered to share their insights and advocate for themselves, speaking when they feel able to express their opinions and based on their individual needs. Additionally, pro-social activities such as walking and enjoying tea at the café provide informal yet impactful settings for open dialogue, fostering a culture of inclusivity and engagement where every student's voice is valued and heard. The school is working towards a more formal student council.
