Play Therapy
We have a Play Therapist who comes to Falconer School once a week to provide one-to-one Play Therapy sessions who creates a therapeutic and confidential relationship in which the student feels safe enough to express both conscious and unconscious thoughts and feelings through the medium of play, which includes the use of sensory toys, sand trays, games and art materials. The Play Therapist supports the student to explore their emotional world, helping to promote positive change, increased self-regulation and boosting self-confidence.
