Nurturing, Inspiring, Achieving the Extraordinary Together

Extended Day

Updated on 04 Jan 2021

Running our extensive enrichment provision will be logistically challenging particularly for clubs that would normally offer opportunities across year groups. The extra-curricular programme will therefore not run until further announcement.

Extracurricular activities are just as important as academic subjects. They complement each other and help develop a well-rounded student with more social and practical skills than one who is only exposed to the set curriculum. It is fundamental that education goes beyond the four classroom walls; it should teach children skills which will benefit them in everyday life.

There is an incredibly extensive range of clubs and activities that are offered after school as well as at lunchtime. All students are expected to take part in these activities which are essential parts of their learning; developing skills, extending talents and building character.

The Extended Day Clubs run from 3:15 pm till 4:15 pm on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday.

Robotics, programming, Web design After School Club

The extended day is very successful. The students enjoy looking at Microbits, Scratch and other types of coding. They also started to learn some networking how to network from one user to another. The structure of the extended learning is very open and down to what they want to learn and know about.
